简介：来自美国Philadelphia的The Starting Line乐队，成员分别为Matt Watts（吉他手），Kenny Vasoli（主唱兼bass手），Mike Golla（吉他手），Tom Gryskewicz（鼓手），Brian Schmutz（键盘）。乐队成立于1999年。
2000年的12月份他们已经筹划好的With Hopes of Starting Over首张专辑因为种种原因拖延了，直到2001年4月签约了新公司Drive-Thru Records专辑才得以发行！2002年他们再接再厉又推出了新专辑Say It Like You Mean It，更加奠定了The Starting Line在乐迷心中的地位。05年的专辑Based on a True Story更是登上了Billboard第18名的好成绩。
2006年一月，乐队签约Virgin Records公司，07年发行新专辑Direction，成功登上Billboard第30名的好成绩。
